A simple change in detail can go in so many ways. For example, in photography, cropping off some parts can change the whole story of the photograph. That is what the newest ad of Staedtler did but instead of cropping they decided to change the colors instead by juxtaposing 3 illustrations with different colors with 3 different outcomes.

IBDD

IBDD who is also known as Brazilian Institute of the Rights of People with Disability is advocating for a better accessibility for the handicapped in Brazil. Their idea to make the general public aware is by sticking up crooked posters with the copy: “Simple solutions can improve the lives of many people”. Their aim is when a person fixes the poster it highly emphasizes the idea that a simple way can make a big difference.

Pacific Blue Cross

Cheeky and well placed, that is what this ad of Pacific Blue Cross, a Canadian health provider, did. To remind Canadians the chance to get a good health coverage before crossing over, they replicate road signs and placing it in the US-Canada borders. Apart from poking fun at the expensive US health care, replicating road signs and placing it near the borders made this ad really hilarious and effective.

Brax
Changing the perspective to present a different view is one of the most common thing done in art direction. Sometimes a simple zoom in can make a boring product interesting. One example is this the new ad of Brax. The series of print ads show a macro view of the sponge. Witty and highly amusing. Y&R definitely hit this one well.

Right2Water.eu
Outdoor
To emphasize their call for better water sanitation, right2water.eu combined the images of a droplet of water and the interior view of the throat to show the act of shouting out loud. This ad is not only graphically minimalist in style but as well as in delivering their message.
